My name is Louis Fantini and I am a passionate educator with a deep commitment to public education in Philadelphia. Originally from the Philadelphia area, I studied English at Boston College before serving a year with City Year Philadelphia, and am currently completing my M.S.Ed. in Secondary Education at the University of Pennsylvania. I am graduating May of 2016 with a dual certification in Secondary English and Social Studies and am currently looking for a position in the School District of Philadelphia. For more information on my background and experience, see my resume below.

Outside the classroom, you can find me riding my bike, begrudgingly running long distances (I'm still waiting for that hobby to become fun), reading/writing poetry, watching movies, going to concerts, or cooking elaborate meals for anyone who will eat them. I love Philadelphia, but I get out of the city whenever I can to see new places--I love traveling, camping, and hiking (preferably all three at once).
